Our TOP priority - just follow the rules below. A responsible ADULT must supervise the bounce house at all times.
If your question is not answered below, please feel free to contact us at: mail@moonwalkmania.com How much room do I need to have a bounce house? We will need an area of 20x20x20 feet. It will take approximately 15-30 minutes to set-up the unit, inspect for safety, check operation, and review contract guidelines. Can a bounce house be set up indoors or on a driveway surface? Yes, it can be set up indoors, and on a driveway or other hard surface outdoors; however we need to know ahead of time so we can bring the proper anchors. We also cannot set up on gravel or any other abrasive surface. If setting up outdoors on grass, please make sure there are no utilities or sprinklers under the bounce area since we use 18 inch stakes to anchor the bounce. Does it need electricity? How much will it use? Yes. The bounce house site must be within 75 feet of a dedicated 20 amp circuit (standard household outlet). The blower uses as much electricity as an indoor fan once the bouncer is fully inflated. How many children can fit in a bouncer? We recommend up to 10-12 children for ages under 8, 7-9 children for ages 8-12, and 4 for adults and teens. This really depends on the size of the group of children that are bouncing. Remember, the Adult supervisor should group children of like size and age together for bouncing. Overloading the bounce will increase the chances of injury. What are my responsibilities as the renter of the bounce house? You will have to assign a responsible Adult to supervise the children while the bounce house is in use. This Adult must know all the safety rules and make sure they are carried out. You are responsible for the safety of the children and for the care of the equipment. If you are scheduling a large event such as a company picnic, block party, or family reunion, we may require the hiring of our attendant to supervise the bouncer. This will help to improve the safety of the children and proper operation of the equipment. How safe are these bounce houses? Bounce houses are safe as long as all the safety rules are followed. See the page titled safety for futher information. Proper supervision and enforcement of the safety rules will provide a fun and safe time. Our bounce houses were manufactured here in the US by a leading manufacturer. All units are triple and quadrupled stitched with additional reinforcement on stresspoints. Know what you are renting. Not all bounce houses are made the same. Quality and professional workmanship are key to the production of a safe and durable moonwalk. What if it rains or is very windy? We do not operate our bounce house in high winds (in excess of 20 MPH) and rain. If it is raining or high winds are in the area, we will not set up the bouncer outside. If the weather is uncertain, we will call you before the event and give you the option to cancel or direct us to an alternate location indoors. Moonwalk Mania has the right to cancel an event if it is raining or if rain is inevitable. We will not give refunds once we have set up the bouncer and left your event. How do I reserve a rental date and time? Call us at 941-812-3685 or Email us and inquire about availability. You may also fill out our online reservation form and one of our associates will get back to you right away. If your date is available, we will reserve the date and time for you. We will call before the party to confirm. Rental agreement and release must be signed prior to set-up of the bounce. What do I need to do to prepare for the rental? Make sure there will be easy access to the set up site for the delivery. Clean up any sticks, rocks, and any other debris around the site. Make certain there is access to a dedicated circuit within 75 feet of the site. The delivery person will arrive and meet with the responsible adult in charge. We will go over the safety rules, the liability waiver, and provide you with copies. Let Moonwalk Mania know where we will be setting up. Then all you need to do is have fun! When is payment due and how can I pay? Payment in full is due at the time of set-up (Cash or check made payable to Moonwalk Mania ). The delivery person will set-up, give you a copy of the safety rules and then collect your payment. What areas do you service? We mainly serve parts of Sarasota and Charlotte Counties. Delivery is free within these areas. Call for delivery charges if outside of this area.
Do not allow children to enter the inflatable without ADULT supervision. Do not bounce or step near the entrance. All riders must remove shoes, jewelry, eyeglasses, combs, hair clips or any other hard or sharp objects that could cause injury to other children or the unit itself, before entering the inflatable. Absolutely NO Food, drink, gum or silly string inside the bounce house. Silly string causes irreparable damage and you will be held liablefor damages. When riders are in the bounce, there should be NO flips, wrestling, running, pushing, climbing the net walls or any other aggressive behavior that could injure other children. Do not let riders bounce against the sides or entrance. We will not set up near a pool for safety reasons. Only children of compatible age and size should be in the unit at the same time. Mixing children of different sizes will greatly increase the risk of injury. It is best if children do not sit or lay down while other children are bouncing around them, as a jumping child could fall down on top of a sitting or lying child. No pets are allowed in the unit at any time. STOP the children from bouncing and have them exit the bouncer if: winds exceed 20 miles per hour, or if it starts raining. Turn the blower motor off after the children exit and wait for the weather to subside. Turn the blower back on and dry it off with towels if it is wet. If the blower motor stops: Have the children calmly exit the inflatable while you help them out. Do not attempt to re-inflate until all children are out of the bounce. Most often the cause is an overloaded circuit or a piece of debris in front of the blower intake. Reset the circuit breaker and make sure the blower is on a dedicated circuit. Clear any debris away from the intake on the blower. Do not attempt to move the bounce house or blower once it is set up. We set the bouncer up and secure it so that everything is as safe as possible. Damage: If the unit becomes damaged while in operation, assist all users from the until and deflate it. Contact Moonwalk Mania immediately. Do not attempt to continue operation of the unit.
